Tried-and-true men's luxury footwear brand The Generic Man has definitely got a case of spring fever. For its SHIRT collection for Comme Des Garçons, the shoe designers have traded in their muted, stately sensibilities for some vibrant, look-at-me kicks.
The collection includes three shoe models with countless hue combos and patterns: The Mohawk, a moccasin-style, color-blocked chukka boot; The Wellington, a canvas sneaker with cartoony, hand-drawn designs (like the YO! MTV Raps-style with the black-and-yellow word bubbles); And the Wing Tip, a trainer-like brogue with ornamental stitching and easter-egg color medleys.
The full collection will be available at Comme Des Garçons shops worldwide, proving that opposing satorial forces can come together and create something awesome. Speaking of, couldn't your boyfriend's all-brown shoe collection use a dose of your colorful personality?
