Trainer: Stephanie Mansour of Step it Up With Steph

Tip: When you’re debating between The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and a 60-minute spin class, remember your motivation. “You can find the time to exercise if you find the reason why exercise is important to you,” Mansour says. “Why will you run three blocks to Starbucks during a blizzard, when you won’t run three blocks to the gym to work out? The bigger the why, the easier the how. If you value your body and value your health, you will exercise, regardless of your schedule.”

Chances are, needing to clear your mind and stay in shape are more powerful whys than “because I need to find out what happens between Adrienne and Brandi.” (And by the way, there’s always TiVo for that.)

Takeaway: Take inventory of your values, and reshuffle as necessary. Hint: taking care of your health should be at the top of the list.
