What are you wearing to wrap up your last-minute shopping? Some sweatpants, maybe even your beat-up "comfy" boots? Pshaw, pshaw, Katie Holmes says to that. Trotting around town with a heavy to-do list doesn't mean you can't be 100-percent festive, and being festive also doesn't require some sort of snowflake-laden shirt.
Bright red pants, a pair of closed-toe, prettily embellished booties, and a navy blazer make the the stylish mom look like she's totally ready for whatever NYC might throw her (which, as denizens of the city, we know to be pretty much anything).
And clearly, the current Broadway star knows she's got an effortless ensemble going — at least that's how we're reading that coy, Joey Potter-reminiscent smile. Certainly, the holiday hustle is not getting Miss Holmes down. In fact, those trousers are bringing seasonal cheer to all.
