For those of you who need a break from the holiday madness (don't we all?), we've rounded up a slew of events that'll have you forgetting about the wishlists and to-dos if only for a little bit. Of course, we couldn't help ourselves — we threw in two sales and a très chic store opening for good measure. Because, let's be honest, no matter what time of year, we've always got bargains on the brain!

Mohawk Bend Raises The Bar, Yet Again!

And nothing beats cozying up by the fireplace at Mohawk Bend on a chilly winter evening with said beer! This Thursday, the Silver Lake bar has teamed up with The Bruery to host a $15 flight night consisting of some hard-to-find stouts. We're most excited to try the 4 Calling Birds, a spiced and strong dark ale that'll put us in the serious holiday spirit.

Where: Mohawk Bend, 2141 West Sunset Boulevard (at Mohawk Street); 213-483-2337.
