Neil Young & Crazy Horse, Patti Smith, Everest: Barclays Center, December 3, $69.35
There are more benefits to having a new Brooklyn stadium than a winning basketball team, and tonight's show with Neil Young and Patti Smith is one of them. The two artists should have no problem filling the arena, and it should be especially thrilling to hear Neil Young's voice drift out of that massive PA. Get your lighters ready.
Monday, December 3, 7:30 p.m. Barclays Center, 620 Atlantic Avenue (at Flatbush Avenue); Brooklyn; 212-359-6387.
Japandroids, DIIV: Webster Hall, December 4 and 5, $15
If you haven't yet experienced the hour-long sing-along that is Japandroids' live set, you're missing out on one of the most life-affirming experiences in music. If you can't make it thursday, both bands are also playing again at The Paramount the following night.
