The Most Stylish Night Caps Await At L.A.'s Top 5 Late-Night Restos

Before Instagram and group text, Sunday brunch was how night owls would recall the previous evening's exploits. Over scrambled eggs and mimosas, revelers would titter over everything from the hilarious to the horrifying. These days, a simple hashtag solves the whole debate over who had the best dance moves, and if that guy sitting at the bar really was the spitting image of Brad Pitt circa Thelma & Louise.
However, rather than abandon the entire in-person tradition, Angelenos are hitting up late-night haunts in droves, chowing down on everything from bánh mìs to milkshakes. Between bites, they're reminiscing about what went down just minutes before. Where are they gathering exactly? These top five after-hours spots in L.A. And, to get you prepped to follow suit, we've put together a look for each eatery that'll complete your perfect evening out. Because, really, who says wardrobe changes all have to take place before curfew?

Red Medicine
While the regular menu at Red Med is pretty swanky, it's chef Jordan Kahn's bar fare that totally makes us salivate. One bite of the legendary bánh mì or a savory spring roll, and we think you'll agree. Plus, this crew isn't fooling around when it comes to cocktails: We're big fans of #73, a.k.a. its version of a Caipirinha. While there's no official dress code, we suggest you take note of Kahn's colorful dishes and dress the part in a botanical-print frock and architectural add-ons.
Red Medicine, 8400 Wilshire Boulevard (at South Gale Drive); 323-651-5500.

25 Degrees
Nothing's better than wrapping up a winning match at the Roosevelt Hotel's Spare Room and celebrating over burgers and beer at the diner downstairs. Open 24/7, the French toile wallpaper and black-crystal chandeliers evoke a sense of Old Hollywood glamour. Pay homage to the hotel's most famous resident, Marilyn Monroe, by spritzing some Chanel No. 5 (her fave), and then go modern-girl glam by heading out in a curve-defining jumpsuit and statement heels.
25 Degrees at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, 7000 Hollywood Boulevard (at North Orange Drive); 323-785-7244.

101 Coffee Shop
This late-night spot not only serves up the best in comfort food, but it also doubles as a film set (go on, re-watch your old Entourage and Gilmore Girls DVDs for proof!). Between the large banquette seating and old-school lighting, this A-lister hot spot instantly transports customers to the '60s. We were inspired by designer Warner Ebbink's retro vision and decided that the next visit to 101 requires a bit of vintage flare. That circle skirt will certainly pair well with a colorful cardi, grilled cheese, and peanut butter shake!
101 Coffee Shop, 6145 Franklin Avenue (at Vista Del Mar Avenue); 323-467-1175.
From Left, Clockwise: Mango Two-Tone Cardigan, $44.99, available at Mango; Dorothy Perkins Full Flared Skirt, $59, available at Dorothy Perkins; Marni Silk Georgette Top, $518, available at Marni; Kate Spade Charlotte Street Sylvie Bag, $398, available at Kate Spade; Robert Clergerie Jasd Oxfords, $439.99, available at Zappos.

BCD Tofu House
One of our fave Saturday evening itineraries includes hitting up a karaoke spot, singing our hearts out for complete strangers, and then stuffing our faces at BCD. Open all hours, stop by on chilly nights for the Tofu Soup (extra spicy!), and load up on the sides. Don't miss out on their Bibimbap, either — it may be our top version in all of K-Town. But, if you plan on clearing the table (it's hard not to), we encourage you to wear something a bit forgiving — perhaps an oversized button-down shirt will do the trick?
BCD Tofu House, 3575 Wilshire Boulevard (near South Kingsley Drive); 213-382-6677.
