A Bevy Of Cool Things To Do This Week In S.F.

main You might want to keep the sleep-inducing turkey nomming at a minimum this Thursday, since we found a slew of rad shindigs and you’ll need the energy to partake in them. From a trunk show of dazzling gems to a concert that will rock the stockings off the mantle, these events give us plenty of reason to be thankful.

Ryan DeBonville Trunk Show
Finding a cozy-chic pullover is no sweat at this Ryan DeBonville trunk show filled with the designer’s standout knits, going down this Friday at BellJar. The Mission shop will also be serving up overflowing glasses of hot apple cider so we can make a toast to our new stellar layers.

The She's + Tamaryn Show

Shana Astrachan’s Holiday Glamour Boutique
Ask any S.F.er what they are lusting after, and odds are the covetables will be locally made. And shopping some Bay Area crafted goodies will be a cinch at Rare Device’s annual holiday pop-up shop. This year, local jewel smith and makeup artist Shana Astrachan is heading up the fete, and has teamed up with other crafters to present us with a selection of stationary, baubles, and cosmetics.
When: Saturday, November 24, 2 to 4 p.m.
Where: Rare Device, 600 Divisadero Street (at Hayes Street); 415-863-3969.

Block Friday Community Potluck
Instead of wrestling for an iPad Mini with other under-slept crazies on Black Friday, we found an alternative that will leave you much more satisfied. At Block Friday, we can bring our Thanksgiving extras for a mega potluck and break bread with friendly neighbors.
When: Friday, November 23, 2 p.m.
Where: Renoir Hotel, 1106 Market Street (near 7th and McAllister streets); 415-626-5200.
