We can't speak for everyone, but we've definitely based entire outfits around a pair of socks (granted, it's not like we were wearing knee-high boots). Yes, even the smallest sartorial add-ons have inspired our looks. Whether you're a fan of ankle socks paired with cheeky heels, or layering a statement-making pair under your favorite kicks, Stance has just debuted a below-the-knee collection ready to spark your enthusiasm, too. And Refinery29's got the first look.

The L.A.-based brand announced the release of its first women's sock collection available today. Featuring patterns, prints, and colors galore, the new designs are far from the kind of pairs we just shove into our sneakers before heading to the gym. "No longer considered an afterthought accessory," says Candy Harris of Stance, the pairs also take center stage in Stance's premiere lookbook, which showcases all the sweet sets we'd wear both inside the house and peeking out of our favorite boots.

The Stance women's collection is officially available in stores today and will make its web debut by next Monday, November 19. Simply jump ahead to the slides for a first look at the entire collection, as well as a few new ideas for thinking about your style, starting at your feet.
