Eat Up And Meet The Culinary All-Stars Of Los Feliz
Like many Angelenos, the L.A. food scene has us weak in the knees! Given such, we're obviously not missing out on the first ever SoCal installment of Dishcrawl. Remember those pub crawls back in college? Well, take that idea, subtract the copious amounts of booze, and substitute delicious grub. Taking place in Los Feliz, this is a great opportunity to see what the Eastside neighborhood can serve up cuisine-wise.
When: Tuesday, November 13, 7 p.m.
Where: The meeting location will be revealed to all ticket-holders before the event via email.
Tom Petty Fans Will Be Free Fallin' For This Event!
Fabrizio Moretti and Nick Valensi of the Strokes, Patrick Carney of the Black Keys, Nicole Atkins, Sarah Silverman, and many more will be on hand to celebrate Petty Fest, a.k.a. the tribute show to end all tribute shows. Hosted by Jameson Irish Whiskey, you better believe there will be tons of can't-miss performances and wild moments. Now we just have to decide which album will be tuning into all week: Wildflowers or Full Moon Fever (honestly, it'll probably be both!).
When: Wednesday, November 14, and Thursday, November 15, 8 p.m.
Where: El Rey Theatre, 5515 Wilshire Boulevard (between South Burnside and South Dunsmuir avenues); 323-936-6400.
The Grove Just Got A Bit More Glam
It's no secret that the Grove is somewhat of a shopping mecca, especially during the holidays. To help usher in the season of gift-giving, L.A.-based designers Clare Vivier, Heidi Merrick, and ban.do have teamed up for Pop Carts, a fun and festive way to obtain limited-edition gifts. Now, if only finding our car in that massive lot was just as simple!
When: November 15 through February 14
Where: The Grove, 189 The Grove Drive (at West Third Street); 323-900-8080.
J.Crew And Vogue Pair Up For A Swanky Cocktail Party
Need another reason to hit up the Grove? On Thursday night the uber-preppy retailer will be hosting a bash alongside Vogue and Tom Mora (head of women's design at J.Crew). Take a peek at the holiday merch, and don't forget to pick up something shiny for yourself — a 20% discount will be given for purchases of $150 or more, and a portion will go towards the L.A. Regional Food Bank.
When: Thursday, November 15,
Where: J.Crew at The Grove, 189 The Grove Drive (at West Third Street); 323-939-1070.
RSVP: 323-939-1070
Drop By Burning Torch's New Spot And Donate
If you happen to find yourself on Abbot Kinney Thursday night, make it your mission to hit up the newly opened Burning Torch space. For one evening only, the shop will be hosting a benefit event with the Venice Family Clinic — 40% of all proceeds will go towards the project. Sipping champagne while being charitable... what more could you ask for?
When: Thursday, November 15, 6 to 8 p.m.
Where: Burning Torch, 1627 Abbot Kinney Boulevard (between Rialto Avenue and North Venice Boulevard); 310-399-1920.

Cookbook Connoisseur Hosts A Public Convo With A Celeb
It's one thing to have a book signing, it's another to have an A-list actress come out and chat with you about your latest tome. Guess that's L.A. for you! For just $42 you will receive a signed copy of Ina Garten's Barefoot Contessa Foolproof: Recipes You Can Trust, along with prime seats to see actress Jennifer Garner host a one-on-one Q&A with the television chef. Our mouths are watering — literally!

Where: Wilshire Ebell Theater, 743 South Lucerne Boulevard (near Wilshire Boulevard); 323-931-1277.
Lianne La Havas Live At The Roxy With KCRW
Between her soulful sound and incredible style, it's tough not to fall in love with Lianne La Havas. So, when the Brit babe makes her way to L.A., we always make an extra effort to say allohello! Yes, it's the Sunset Strip, but we bet the trek (and those insane parking prices) will be worth it once you hear and see what La Havas has up her sleeve.
When: Friday, November 16, 8 p.m.
Where: The Roxy, 9009 West Sunset Boulevard (between North Weatherly Drive and Hammond Street); 310-278-9457.
We Won't Sugar-Coat It: This May Be The Sweetest Event Ever
The season may call for candy canes and ribbon candy, but chocolate's the fail-safe dessert anyone can enjoy year-round. If you're a choco-holic, then you can't miss this weekend's Chocolate Invitational Festival, where vendors will be handing out samples along with chocolate art demos and a "living chocolate meditation," whatever that means! Just don't forget to brush your teeth post-event — your dentist will thank you!
When: Saturday, November 17, 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Where: Great Spirits Ranch, 33051 Mulholland Highway (near Westlake Boulevard); 310-924-0096.
It's Time To Spin For Your Sisters
Still need to shed some weight before the holidays? First, we suggest you read up on these tips from a celeb nutritionist, then, we advise you to book a bike at Cycle House this Saturday for a ride that's not just good for your glutes. The $30 covers your spin class and goes straight to I Am That Girl, a charity project all about empowering women around the world. Plus, post-ride, feel free to join the folks of Vita Coco and Paleta for healthy snacks and rehydrating beverages.
When: Saturday, November 17, 4:30 p.m.
Where: Cycle House, 624 North La Cienega Boulevard (at North Croft Avenue); 310-358-0888.
