Slava, Rush Midnight, Prism House, Kuhrye-oo: Cameo Gallery: November 5, $10
With all the shows that had been rescheduled due to Sandy, it’s probably been more than a few days since you’ve been out to a concert. Start this week off right with performances from Brooklyn electronic producer Slava, ‘80s-loving Twin Shadow bassist Rush Midnight, and more at Cameo Gallery. Should be a fun night.
Monday, November 5, 8 p.m. Cameo Gallery, 93 North 6th Street (between Berry and Wythe avenues); Brooklyn; 718-486-5400.

Tamaryn, Starred, Cool Angels: Knitting Factory Brooklyn, November 10, $10
Shoegazy chanteuse Tamaryn has just released a solid new album called Tender New Signs. Supporting her at the Knitting Factory is the similarly bleary-eyed duo Starred, whose track “No Good” is one of the most beautifully morose songs of the year. RIYL: My Bloody Valentine, Fleetwood Mac, playing soft music really, really loud.
Saturday, November 10, 7 p.m., The Knitting Factory Brooklyn, 361 Metropolitan Avenue (between Havemeyer and Marcy avenues), Brooklyn; 347-529-6696.

Brooklyn Electronic Music Festival: Various Venues, November 9 and 10, $35 1 Day Passes, $65 2 Day
With over 40 artists, including Gold Panda, Brenmar, XXYYXX, Shlomo, Nicolas Jaar, NGUZUNGUZU, Nick Hook, as well as a curated food truck lot and art installations, the fifth annual Brooklyn Electronic Music Festival is shaping up for another great year. Grab two day passes for just $65 dollars, and see as much knob-twisting and laptop tapping as you can manage.
Friday and Saturday, November 9 and 10, Various Venues in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
