The first, natural developed skin care line from a dermatologist, Goldfaden was started by Dr. Goldfaden and is now run by the whole Goldfaden family. "I love that no one tells us what our limits are." says Lisa Goldfaden, VP of Marketing (dad is the MD in question). "We are in control of our own destiny and there is a tremendous amount of freedom in that."

But getting off the ground hasn't been easy. The current line is a repackage of their old line, which was created by Dr. Goldfaden and sold exclusively in his practice in Florida for years. "From issues with packaging to hearing one hundred 'no's before you hear a 'yes'," says Lisa, "there are have been many challenges along the way." She's quick to add that it is totally worth it, though. "We had to let go of the old so that the new could begin."
