As much as we love NYC, we often find ourselves plagued with what can only be described as severe cabin fever. Why while away the day at our desks when we could be jet-setting the globe? Now, we think we've found our travel bug soul sisters, if you will. When it comes to stocking their new accessories site Cuyana (which means "to love" in Quechua), travel impressarios Karla Gallardo and Shilpa Shah stick to one rule: "GGGG" –– go global, go good.
Their idea was to change the way we shop for international goods, while practicing conscientious commerce at the same time. In each curated collection, a mixture of ready-made crafts and commissions from local artisans are specially selected to show off the national flavor of the countries they visit, meaning you can get a taste for adventure without ever leaving your computer. Plus, the do-good duo donates a percentage of their profits to Charity Water, an organization that brings clean water to in-need areas. Even better, for every Facebook like and email sign-up, the ladies will donate $1 to the charity to help build new water wells.
If you've found your wanderlust spiked but your pockets pinched, fret no more — we're giving away this gorg handmade Argentinian leather tote, with no frequent flyer pass required. It's from the latest stop on the Cuyana itinerary, and all you have to do is tell us (in a comment below) what you'd pack for your own Argentinian getaway to win!
