Tracy Reese Lets Us Play Dress-Up In Michelle Obama's Clothes

Many of us become obsessed with pretty much anything the FLOTUS wears, but we have to admit that the dress she donned for her all-important DNC speech was particularly stunning. And now, it seems as though Tracy Reese, the designer behind the infamous frock, is hooking us all up. In addition to releasing MObama's exact dress for purchase, as part of her Made In Kind collaboration with Anthropologie, she'll be releasing a brand new, perfect-for-fall version.
The original dress was undoubtedly special, but the new dud is a great alternative — Reese talked to InStyle.com at the collab's recent launch party about the differences between Michelle's dress and what will be gracing the Anthro racks. "She wore the sleeveless version in a different fabric," Reese said. "I wanted to make it as rich as possible, so we printed it on this wonderful silk and linen jacquard so it just gives some texture to it, and topped it off with something abstract printed on lace."

The new version will hit stores tomorrow, and even though it's accompanied by a slightly hefty $298 price tag, in our minds, that's but a slim price to pay for a slice of MObama history. Plus, think of all the conversation you'll spark by donning the frock — can you say holiday party dress? (InStyle)
