Low-Key Ladies, Rejoice: Céline Offers Scrunchies, Lunch Bags, & Slippers

    Let's be frank: Mornings are not easy. However, we do understand that it's unacceptable to wear our slippers out of the house, replace our accessories with any old '80s-era hair ties we might have lying around, or passing off lunch bags as an It bag. Or is it?

    At the Céline spring '13 presentation in Paris this past weekend, Phoebe Philo practically made the unthinkable happen. The designer stayed true to the minimalism she is known for, displayed in clean-cut, no-frills leather jackets, crew-neck shells, and simple, silky slips. However, we found the details of Philo's looks most interesting. Straight-leg trousers went extra slouchy, oversized vest coats swayed with grace, and the aforementioned scrunchies (or, at least, what very closely resembled them) hung from the model's limbs.

    With rolled-up clutches in hand and fuzzy-lined slippers on their feet, these Céline models could be having a major Monday-morning moment. And, suffice it to say, our own inner low-maintenance ladies couldn't be more inspired.
