How would you describe your personal style?
"I’m pretty casual and quirky with a bit of edge. As you know we have a dress
code, so I try to keep my red, black, white, or grey combinations fun by
adding bold and playful accessories."
What three pieces in your closet get the biggest workout?
"My vintage Levi’s, any Madewell button-up, and my Sam Edelman studded
flats."
Is it a challenge to dress in Sephora’s black-white-and-red dress code?
"Yes and no. We’re given a lot of freedom with accessories and we can also
wear whatever print we like, as long as it’s in code. It also helps that I have a
slight obsession with black denim!"
What pieces do you find yourself constantly wearing at work?
"A high-low maxi skirt from Leyendecker is at the top of my list. It’s versatile
and I can wear it with anything — layered with cute sweaters, a blazer, biker
boots, or flats. My grey leopard-print Current/Elliott’s are also on heavy
rotation, as are my Blank Denim biker jeans. I also have a pair of black
leather-denim pants by Superfine that I love wearing in the colder months
with a sleek blazer."
What were you doing before you got your job at Sephora?
"I was covering fashion as the writer and editor of REVOLVEclothing.com and
Farfetch.com."
