What were you doing before you got your job at Sephora?
"I was VP of Advertising at Barneys New York. I was also Creative Director of Teen Vogue, Nylon, and Style.com."

What is the best part about working at Sephora?
"People. Ideas. And clarity of vision. It's not gray, it's black and white."

Would you consider yourself a makeup/beauty girl?
"Qui! Da! Yes!"

What are your favorite products that can be found at Sephora (and are now in your makeup bag)?
"Hourglass Illusion Tinted Moisturizer, Sunday Riley Juno Transformative Lipid Serum, Benefit's They're Real! Mascara, and Sephora Collection eyeliner."

Where do you usually head around the area on your breaks?
"Yerba Buena Center for the Arts and 871 Fine Arts bookstore."

When you're not working at Sephora, where would we find you and what would you be doing?
"At the art galleries, at the art fairs and art-book fairs, museums, or on inspirational trips to Asia, especially South Asia. What am I doing while there? Making observations and asking questions."
