Plum

Winter is coming, as they say, and it’s finally time to whip out those deep purples you’ve been hiding from the summer sun. This season, your picks should lean toward that rich, decadent plum we saw on J. Mendel and Bottega Veneta’s catwalks. If you can find a way to make it shine like Carolina Herrera’s slacks, so much the better.

We’ve always favored a purple nail, perhaps because the color is so hard to accessorize elsewhere, and right in time we’ve picked up OPI’s tasty plum “Every Month is Okoberfest.” Even if you keep those purple pieces in the closet, just imagine how hot this will look with a white top.
