Though it might seem easier to imagine the Pantone color prediction meeting taking place in a dark forest, huddled around a hovering orb, the meetings are a lot more like the kinds of things you're used to doing (that is, obsessively looking at runway shows and keeping tabs).
To come up with its list of the top 10 colors for spring '13 (as well as THE color of next year), Pantone researched the spring shows and the colors designers were using and found that the mood was resoundingly practical and pop-art inspired.
