Uniqlo Announces S.F. Opening Date, And Local Influencer Campaign

It’s no secret we’re chomping at the bit waiting for the new — and not to mention spacious — Uniqlo to swing open in S.F. Lucky for us, the folks at Uniqlo get it and are appeasing our anticipation with an official date and cool, locally themed campaign. Phew! Yes, that’s right, the store will be ready to roll by October 5, but if that’s not enough to hold you over, Uniqlo has just released snaps featuring some savvy and notable Bay Area influencers.
Football superstar Joe Montana, Mission Chinese’s Danny Bowien, Brit Morin of Brit & Co., and singer Goapele will appear alongside peeps like the Man Repeller and Benjamin Millepied in the brand’s national People Campaign. See some of your fave San Franciscans giving good face in this slideshow and be sure to get another Uniqlo fix this Thursday at the brand’s FNO tech and fashion panel — where our senior editor Katie Hintz-Zambrano is slated to speak! Um, Uniqlo is taking over S.F., folks!
