L.A. Restaurants Celebrate Julia Child's Birthday
This master chef's birthday is right around the corner, and we plan to celebrate in true Childs-style: eating! Hit up Comme Ca, Church & State, Bouchon, Kendall’s Brasserie, Jar, Tavern, or Maison Giraud for menus curated for the special occasion. And don't be embarrassed to ask for more butter with that bread basket, the kitchen legend would encourage it!

Xavier Veilhan: Architectones at the Richard Neutra VDL Research House
Opening August 9, the iconic residence will host Xavier Veilhan’s latest sculptural installation, which will be up until September 16. Littered throughout the property, the French artist's pieces will be featured everywhere from the front garden through the ground floor and domestic quarters to the rooftop reflecting pool. Home is where the art is!

Chicano Batman and KCRW’s Anthony Valadez Live Performance
