We've already shown you how to wear all-black outfits without looking goth, and now we've got visual, celeb-grade proof that dressing dark can work all summer long. Our favorite Amazonian actress, Charlize Theron, sported a jaw-dropping, head-to-toe charcoal ensemble starring a completely unfussy, totally sleek Lanvin fall '12 black silk-and-neoprene sheath dress with a pair of equally jet strapped heels for her appearance on Today (and kicking around town in NYC). While it's a bit odd that she hit a morning show looking like a midnight queen, we gotta admit, it works! (Especially if she's trying to keep in character re: Snow White And The Huntsman.) If you want to try this look out when the mercury rises this summer, we advise taking a cue from Ms. Theron and keeping your frock extra-simple and pairing it with one of your lighter, more girly pastel lip colors — even black this chic needs a little touch of light here and there.
