#1 Magic Show In L.A.
According to the name, yes, this is indeed the only magic show you need to peep in L.A. $65 gets you admission to night packed with illusions, tricks, and laughs with world renowned magician Ivan Amodei. Beyond Baroque Art Auction
Itching to shop around for art? Look no further than the Beyond Baroque Art Fashion. The annual event boasts pieces from some of the biz’s brightest art stars from Ed Ruscha to Robbie Conal. Short Film Night
Get your cinema and your drink fix on at El Cid’s Short Film Night. The old-school bar is hosting an evening dedicated to brief flicks, and we’re sure it will be a doozy. Movies and booze? We’ll catch you there with a cold one.

Where: El Cid, 4212 West Sunset Boulevard (Near Santa Monica Boulevard); 323-668-0318.
Los Angeles Kings vs St. Louis Blues
Nothing gets us amped like hitting up a ball game on weekday. It doesn’t matter what team we’re rooting for, we dig the energy of the stadium and cheap (well, cheap-ish) beer to put an end to cabin fever. So, we’re going to suggest you grab your pals at hit up this game at the Staples Center. You’ll be glad you rolled through.
When: Thursday, May 3, time TBD
Where: Staples Center, 1111 South Figueroa Street (Near West 11th Street); 213-742-7326.
