Either way, if you have access to wheels and a couple of free hours, you're going to be pretty stoked about this: The J.Crew clearance store in Lynchburg (about a four-hour drive from D.C.) is hosting a holiday warehouse sale, which means you'll be able to cross at least a few names off your list and still stay under budget.
We're hearing rumors that strict, new rules are in place for these events — you'll be limited to one bag that you must keep with you at all times, and you won't be allowed to try on items or sort through your finds until you're ready to check out. That part doesn't sound like so much fun to us (unless you love the thrill of the grab-and-go), but if you're looking for bargains, it might be worth it.
