Loeffler Randall’s New Rainboots Have Us Wishing For A Downpour!

If you're a regular R29 reader, you already know we wish for rainy days—any chance to wear Loeffler Randall's puddle-busting selection of rainboots. Well, now we positively want a downpour after seeing L.R.'s latest addition to their waterproof wears. For fall '11, co-founders and creative directors Jessie Randall and Brian Murphy have rolled out new silhouettes and colorways, including slip-on booties with elastic and an elegant (really!) gray lace-up with a red plaid lining. "I love our new pull on bootie-style that you can slip on while wrangling a wriggly baby trying to get everyone out the door," says Randall. And even if you don't have a tot, you'll agree with the designer on their functionality. "I wear these boots even on days when it's not raining because they are comfortable, functional, and stylish...and I don't feel like my entire outfit becomes all about the weather." With lots of drizzles on the horizon, we're telling Mother Nature to bring it. Our feet will look so good, we think rain's the new runway.
$150-195, available at Loeffler Randall.
