For some of us, back in the day, no college party was ever complete without a big vat of booze-soaked gummies. These days, we’ve graduated to classier alcohol-infused candies thanks to trendy companies like Sugarfina and its Rosé Roses and Champagne Bears. We’re big fans of these more sophisticated gummies, but very occasionally, we find ourselves reminiscing on the less fancy days of college. Turns out there are a couple Etsy shops that have found a way to turn a drink we still love from college into chic gummy candy form.
Delish recently uncovered Irish Confectionery Co. and VineGelee on Etsy, and both shops are selling Fireball gummy bears. Most of us first encountered the cinnamon whiskey in college, and it has remained a staple on our bar carts ever since. Now, we're excited to try it out in this new form. VineGelee calls its boozy creation Fire Bears, and according to a review on the Etsy shop, the bears are quite potent (great news for those of us trying to relive our college days). The Fire Bears are made by hand and ship anywhere in the United States. VineGelee also offers custom labels so you can give them away as a party favor at your bestie's Bachelorette party. Packages of Fire Bears start at 4 ounces and go for $9.95 each.

The second Etsy shop, Irish Confectionery Co, calls its creation Fire Cubs. According to the product's description, Fire Cubs are gluten-free and "spiked with a dash of Fireball Cinnamon Whiskey and a dash of sparkle." Each package comes with 100 cubs and cost just $5.81. From what we've gleaned from product reviews, Fire Cubs seem to be less potent and more cinnamon-y than VineGelee's Fire Bears, which may account for the lower price. Which you choose is up to you and how wild you want your party to get.
With a little help from Etsy, we can keep with the alcohol-infused candy trend all summer and pay homage to our college party roots. These shops and their Fireball gummy bears give us the best of both worlds.
