This Fendi Bag Trend Is Replacing Those Furry Accessories

At the dawn of It bag time, there was the Fendi baguette. (The small, elongated logo bag that garnered a lot of attention and love among the likes of Carrie Bradshaw.) Then, a few seasons ago, there was the Fendi buggy. (The colorful, furry accessories that added personality to purses.) Now, the brand is introducing the Fendi Strap You, a series of purse accoutrements that allow you to mix and match limited-edition straps to up the ante on your arm candy.

Of course, Fendi doesn't do anything quietly. These chunky, embellished style-makers are no different. There are geometrically patterned straps and straps that are bigger than the bags themselves. There are thickly woven straps and straps with large flowers on them (a theme throughout the label's accessory range). Best of all, there are 50 in total, so you can really make your clutch, satchel, or carryall your own. Yes, even if the actual purse isn't Fendi itself. Consider this a little flair you can buy, swap, trade, or — like fashionable Pokemon — catch 'em all.

A muted palette, but still lots going on between the snakeskin handle, the weaving, and the floral strap.

This strap is bigger than the bag — and we're into it. It's kind of like a holster.

Pink and red are a lovely combo that get toughened up by leather perforations and a chunky woven strap.
