Azealia Banks responded on Twitter Tuesday after a video was posted online of the rapper getting into a verbal and physical spat on an airplane.
According to a passenger who claimed to be sitting near Banks when their flight from New York to Los Angeles landed on Tuesday, TMZ reports, "Banks made a beeline for the front door. She had been sitting in seat 6A, but a French couple in the third row was blocking her exit as they pulled their luggage from the overhead bin. The eyewitness stated Banks tried to squeeze by the couple when the French man put his hand out." TMZ's source also claimed that the star "spit in the man's face, punched him in the face, and clawed at his shirt." The TMZ report states that a flight attendant then attempted to grab Banks' bag, which prompted her to fall back in her seat.
Another passenger captured video of Banks' altercation with the flight attendant and eventually the pilot, in which the singer can be heard calling the flight attendant a "fucking f**got." You can watch the footage here.
Since the video and story have been gaining traction on social media, Banks has posted her own responses. While she has not released an official statement yet regarding the incident, she posted on Twitter regarding the use of the slur, "I am bisexual. my brother is trans. My employees are all gay men. Nothing else to say."

The tweets from Banks prompted a variety of responses from followers, including Perez Hilton, who wrote, "You are such a troll. That would work well for a blogger or YouTuber. Not so much for a musician. Sad. Wasting your talent!!"
