September 11th has been, for the past 14 years, a day of remembrance. Memorializing the men and women who lost their lives in the 2001 terrorist attacks. Commemorating the bravery of the first responders who spearheaded the search and rescue efforts after the towers fell. And honoring the resilience of those who lost loved ones. Many used Instagram to share photos of the new memorial, as well as of the towers as they once were. Others called for moments of silence and reflection. Some shared very personal memories of loss. All posted to make sure no one ever forgets the tragedy and loss of that day.
