This Playlist Beyoncé's Family Made For Her Birthday Is Adorable

It's #BeyDay, the greatest holiday of the year! We don't know how you are celebrating Beyoncé's birthday today, but we did get a glimpse into her family's celebration of this high and holy day from her website. The entire family created a musical playlist dedicated to Bey, along with little notes explaining what the song means. Music embeds courtesy of Tidal, of course, because a diva doesn't stop working, even on her Bey Day.

First of all, the music picks here (songs that make them think of Beyoncé) are amazing. From Shuggie Otis to Stevie Wonder to Lenny Kravitz, the playlist itself is jamming. Some of the notes that go with the songs will make a tear come to your eye, like Kelly Rowland, who pulls up Mary J. Blige "What's The 411." Rowland recalled listening to the classic album all night together at a sleepover, saying, "I felt like I had truly found a friend and what turned out to be a lifelong bond." Her father, chose Smokey Robinson's "Here I Go Again," and said, "I used to sing this to you when you were in your mom's stomach." Awww! The major tearjerker, though was Solange, who picked Kim Burrell's "Holy Spirit" and writes, "My sister, humming this with me softly, being the calming beautiful spirit that she is, making everything that resided in that moment filled with love."

Absolutely bawling.

It's not all tears for Bey Day, though. Some family members offered up memories that made us laugh. Her cousin Angie Beyince, who picked Lenny Kravitz's "Fly Away," recalled driving down the highway in Houston together listening to the track. "We would throw our hands up in the wind and let our hair fly wild and crazy and we would sing along, screaming out the words." Her uncle, Larry Beyince, threw in Houston hip hop legend Mike Jones and his track "Still Tippin'," recalling a yacht party, saying, "...when this song came on we were doing the South Side so hard I think the boat was rocking!" Still reppin' H-town, girl.

The sweetest, by far, comes from little Blue who dedicates "Part of Your World" from The Little Mermaid to her mom. "Mommy you sung this to me all the time!," Blue said. "Happy Birthday, Mommy!" So young and already winning.
