Exclusive: Dunkin’ Launches Reese’s Peanut Butter & Pumpkin Cheesecake Doughnuts

If you thought Oreo- and Chips Ahoy-themed doughnuts were exciting (we've definitely eaten more than our fair share), just wait until you try the latest Dunkin' collaboration. The chain teamed up with The Hershey Company to come up with a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup-inspired pastry. The result is the Reese's Peanut Butter Square: You may guess by its name that it's a square doughnut filled with Reese's peanut butter; it's topped with chocolate icing and an orange icing drizzle. (The orange was added to match the traditional peanut butter cup colors.) As part of its fall lineup, Dunkin' is also debuting a Pumpkin Cheesecake Square on the menu. It is stuffed with pumpkin cheesecake filling and topped with orange icing, crumbled graham crackers, and a white icing drizzle. The two new treats will hit stores August 31 and will be available only through October. Refinery29 got an early taste of the upcoming baked goods, and we're hoping that peanut butter makes more doughnutty appearances in the very near future. Our only qualm was that the doughnut didn't have chunks of actual Reese's Peanut Butter Cups sprinkled over the top, but that probably would have made it a completely unacceptable breakfast item.
