Suprise! Joseph Gordon-Levitt Is A Dad

Announcing the birth of your child when nobody even knew you and your partner were expecting? That's some Beyoncé shit right there.

A rep for Joseph Gordon-Levitt and his wife, Tasha McCauley, has confirmed (to Us Weekly) the birth of the couple's first child. The pair, who wed in December, are parents to a bouncing baby boy. JGL Jr. was born last weekend, but his name has not yet been revealed.

"Everyone’s happy and healthy," a source told the magazine.

Of course, we can't help but hope that Gordon-Levitt's son and Zooey Deschanel's newborn baby girl will wind up as playmates — and, possibly, become indie baby sweethearts. It's got to happen, right?

Congrats all around. We expect the proud pops is feeling very much like this right now.
