Is Real Housewives Hiring Its First Transgender Castmember?

If the rumors are true, Bravo will be shaking up the next season of Real Housewives of Atlanta.

TMZ reports that departing castmember NeNe Leakes, will be replaced by Amiyah Scott, a trans female model. The single Scott is not actually a "housewife" — is anyone? —but does refer to herself as a mermaid, goddess, and "unicorn with an invisible horn." Scott would also be the first transgender castmember in the show's history.

Bravo has not yet responded to our requests for confirmation. According to TMZ, however, the show has another surprise in store: Tootie. Facts of Life star Kim Fields is also reportedly joining the cast. What is she going to do without Natalie in a cast full of Blairs? The drama is going to be intense.
