It's A Good Day For Lip Tar Fans

It's impossible to talk long-wear lip shades without bringing up Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics' cult-favorite Lip Tar. This holy grail lippy is highly pigmented, insanely long-lasting, and comes in many exciting shades. It's a true put-it-on-and-forget-it product.

The only caveat? The packaging. Those tiny squeeze tubes glob out product onto a tiny brush that always gets lost or covered in whatever is floating around the bottom of your makeup bag. And if you try to apply the pigment with your finger, you usually wind up looking like you've just spent the last hour making out with your high school crush under the bleachers — Smear City.

We've got good news for you: No longer will you have to suffer through shoddy application in the name of long-lasting lip color. The goddesses over at OCC are rolling out Lip Tar / RTW, the same awesome hues in much easier to use tubes. These guys look just like regular lip gloss containers — complete with twist tops and sponge applicators. So instead of dealing with stained fingers, you can apply your Lip Tar on the go. A simple swap, yes, but seriously life-changing for the people who adore this product.

Lip Tar / RTW launches on August 14 and will set you back $15, three bucks less than the original. Pick it up on the brand's website or at Nordstrom. Trust us — we're already planning a major haul.
