Considering that her first child is named Bronx Mowgli, you just knew that Ashlee Simpson wasn't going to christen her new arrival with husband Evan Ross something simple like Emma or Sophia. We did think, however, that perhaps her daughter, who was born on July 30, might get a name honoring her Motown roots. Baby girl's grandma, after all, is the legendary Diana Ross. Would Supreme, Mahogany, or Baby Love be so far-fetched? Boy, were we way off. These proud parents are less into pop pedigree and more into rock attitude. Ladies and gentlemen, we present Jagger Snow Ross. "The couple had their minds set on this name for a long time," a source told E! News. "They wanted something fun and different." It certainly fits the bill. The name, announced on Instagram, pays tribute to Rolling Stones' front man, Mick Jagger. Soleil Moon-Frye also has a son named Jagger, while Pamela Anderson and Rachel Zoe have used the rockin' moniker as a middle name. The name also echoes other recent rock-inspired names like Bowie (Zoe Saldana) and Axl (Fergie). It's a cool name, to be sure. We just hope she doesn't mind hearing a certain Maroon 5 song every day for the rest of her life.
