Ben Affleck’s Rep Says Nanny Affair Story Is “Full Of Lies”

A rep for Ben Affleck has firmly denied reports that the recently separated actor is dating his children's nanny, Christine Ouzounian. Us Weekly is running a story about the alleged relationship on its latest cover. "The story is full of lies," Affleck's publicist told R29 over email. "You shouldn't be able to hide behind 'blind sources' and attempt to destroy families going through a difficult time. We are considering legal options." Affleck and his wife of 10 years, Jennifer Garner, announced their separation last month. The former couple have been maintaining an amicable relationship, which has included a vacation with their three children. They also reportedly intend to live together on the same property. According to Us Weekly, Ouzounian was let go by Garner after the actress discovered "there was something going on" between her and Affleck. Sources reportedly close to Ouzounian told the magazine that Affleck and the former nanny have been in touch over email and text, and that they spent time together on July 17. “She says Ben really, really likes her,” Ouzounian's "friend" told the magazine. “She’s saying this is true love." People, meanwhile, is taking a strong stance against the rumors — which is interesting, given how closely the magazine watched the couple in the months leading up to their split. One thing we do know: A painful divorce and the threat of legal action aren't usually ingredients for true love.
