The Ariana Grande doughnut drama has more or less petered out. But that doesn't mean the pint-sized songstress isn't going to go down in pop culture history books for her confectionary faux pas. These days, licking one of these circular sweets means something — but whether it means the licker is taking a shot at Grande or not is up for interpretation.
For example: Yesterday, during her joint surprise graduation party with Kylie Jenner, Kendall posed with her four sisters, licking what appears to be a Krispy Kreme. (Khloé snuck in on the saccharine action a little bit too.)
Was Kendall throwing shade Grande's way? Was she making her own personal statement about obesity in America? Was she supporting the "problem" singer with a tongue-based show of solidarity? Or, was this just a case of a glazed treat being in the wrong place at the wrong time? The world may never know.
One thing's for certain, though: We don't think this will be the last time another celeb cheekily works a doughnut into an Instagram frame. For better or worse, this pastry is having its 15 minutes, and they are not over yet.
