Venture out of London, and you get so much more for your money. For £1,179, you could be living the dream in a one-bedroom rooftop flat in Berlin. In New York City, £1,505 will fetch you a prewar studio apartment on the Upper East Side, which doesn't really compare to the two-bedroom luxury condo £1,489 will buy you in Cebu, The Philippines. That includes a sports-club membership, by the way.
