The truth is out there — and so are Fox Mulder and Dana Scully. After lots and lots of hype, fans of The X-Files finally have a sneak peek at the miniseries reboot of Fox's classic spooky series.
Last night's episode of Wayward Pines included a short snippet of footage from the highly anticipated TV event. Alas, the six-episode series itself won't premiere until January 24, 2016, but we'll take whatever Mulder-and-Scully fix we can feast our eyes on.
So, here you go. We've got Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny packing heat. We've got dead bodies and a rather terrifying needle gun. We've got an "I Want to Believe" poster being trampled. We've got some of the best '90s TV theme music.
What does it all mean? How is it possible that Mulder and Scully look even younger/hotter after all this time? Why do we have to wait?
