When Amy Schumer signed on to make Trainwreck, she got the sense early on that movie execs wanted her to shape up — but, as the Emmy-nominated comedian explained on Live! With Kelly and Michael, they wanted her to come around to the idea on her own. She remembers being asked: "How do you want to look for the movie?" She tossed out some wardrobe suggestions before realizing what they were really talking about: her weight. "'Maybe skip a meal'... 'No more food for you,'" Schumer said, paraphrasing what executives told her at the time. "'Don't you need that to live?' 'That is a myth!'" she summed up the back-and-forth. The actress ended up with a trainer and a new eating plan that didn't seem to involve a lot of actual eating. "[It] was like a smoothie for breakfast, and then for lunch, you journal about that smoothie," Schumer joked. "That's the Hollywood secret: Don't put food in your dumb mouth." So, how did the diet actually turn out? Watch Schumer discuss it in the video below. All we have to say about this is that Amy Schumer is absolutely perfect as is — and, obviously, #veryfuckable.
