Comic-Con Attendees Reenacted This Disturbing Game Of Thrones Moment

Game of Thrones fans at San Diego Comic-Con knew they would get an in-depth experience of the show. But, no one expected a dramatic reenactment of Cersei Lannister's shame walk. The incident took place outside the Omni Hotel in downtown San Diego this afternoon. A woman dressed as Cersei walked in a skin-colored suit covered in fake blood. Another woman dressed as a septa followed behind her. Just like in the episode, the woman rang a bell and repeated "shame" as she trailed her Cersei-like companion. Refinery29 captured the footage on Snapchat, which is pictured below. We have also confirmed these were independent cosplayers who were not affiliated with HBO. Reenactments aren't uncommon at Comic-Con. When a Batman cosplayer meets a Joker cosplayer, for example, they may exchange some dialogue from the comics and films. But, this was an unexpected — and dark — moment in an otherwise jovial setting.
