The British pop star stunned fans by posting an Instagram that revealed she was being treated in the hospital. The singer explained that she'd had an operation on Monday, but declined to elaborate further. Instead, she asked her fans for privacy during this time.
"I'm going to be offline for a few days and I wanted to show you why," she wrote. "I don't often share personal stuff (especially about my health) anymore, I just get on with it secretly, but I wanted to share with you before someone else might and it gets twisted and exaggerated into something different or worse."
