Taylor Swift Wore A Harness To Lunch & The Internet Freaked Out

Taylor Swift's posh New York style is fairly predictable. There's the girly crop-top-and-skirt combo. The sophisticated sweater-and-high-waist-shorts look. And the work-ready romper thrown in for good measure. But apparently, when she gets to L.A., she gets an itch to mix it up a little — by way of a certain BDSM-inspired item, in fact. The singer went to Lucques in West Hollywood for lunch with Selena Gomez yesterday and casually threw a leather harness over her "Fight Song" tank. Because, why not? Then, the Internet exploded. Swift took to Tumblr to explain her bold sartorial choice: "I think you’re ignoring a really important point here," she wrote. "That my harness and I are always ready for a zip line/rock climbing. Ask yourself...Are you ready for extreme adventure should it present itself? HARNESS LIFE 2015." We actually think she looks pretty darn cute, but we're calling it now: The harness has officially lost all edge.
