When it comes to street style cred, age ain't nothing but a number. In the past couple years, blogger/J.Crew designer Mayhem, and fashion plate/entrepreneur Mr. Cory have proved it so. And we've just found one more cool kid to add to your must-follow list: Alexander Yan. He's only five years old, but already the Londoner is gaining traction on social media for his adorable recreations of celebrity outfits. Whether his muse happens to be Kanye West, Karl Lagerfeld, or even Sarah Jessica Parker and Alexander McQueen's 2006 Met Gala tartan ensembles, Yan pulls off these head-to-toe interpretations with plenty of swagger. According to The Huffington Post, his account is actually run by his mom, Izabela Tomaszek, who also came up with the idea of recreating celeb outfits. As she explained, "I start[ed] getting comments that Alexander look[ed] like Lenny Kravitz [and] Bruno Mars and I thought, 'Why not to do some outfits inspired by designers or even singers?'" She said that she combs the internet for photo inspiration, then snaps her son as he recreates the look. Although there are only a handful of dress-up photos up so far — including a Givenchy runway ensemble and an especially cute picture of Yan as Olivier Rousteing — this mother-and-son duo are getting ready to debut more soon. In the meantime, go ahead and follow our new favorite pint-size fashion icon here. (The Huffington Post)
