Jennifer Lopez is apparently in a bit of a legal situation following a recent performance in Morocco. According to TMZ, Lopez gave a concert on May 29 that was broadcast on one of the country's public television stations. In response to the singer's bootylicious dance moves and skimpy costumes, an education group has filed a lawsuit that says Lopez has "disturbed public order and tarnished women's honor and respect." Both Jennifer Lopez and her concert promoter are being sued.

The BBC reported an hour ago that Morocco's Prime Minister Abdelilah Benkirane has now ordered an investigation into the broadcast. Benkirane called Lopez's performance a "serious delinquency" and "sexually suggestive." The Prime Minister demanded that the country's High Authority of Audiovisual Communication, "take legal action against those responsible" for allowing the concert to air.

Both TMZ and the BBC noted that Lopez has performed in Morocco before without any issues; however, this is the first time one of her concerts has aired on TV. According to the BBC, the Prime Minister called the scenes "indecent and provocative to the religious and moral values of Moroccan society."

If Lopez and her promoter are found guilty in the lawsuit, they face between one month and two years in prison. (TMZ)
