Talk about a caffeine overload. Starbucks is kicking our Monday morning into overdrive with news that the chain will be offering not one, not two, not three, but SIX new flavors of Frappuccinos this AM. Yes, you read that correctly.
In honor of the 20th anniversary of the blended coffee favorite, Starbucks is giving fans the gift of a whole new menu of Frappuccino options. You'll be able to order Caramel Cocoa Cluster, Cinnamon Roll, Cotton Candy, Cupcake, Lemon Bar, and Red Velvet Cake beginning June 8, And in case any of those sound familiar, all of those new coffee blendeds are already popular secret menu items.
The new Frappuccinos are part of what Starbucks has dubbed the Frappuccino Flav-Off. Between June 19 and June 30, fans will be able to vote for their favorite of the six flavors on Frappuccino.com. (Yes, that's a LOT of Frappuccinos to drink between now and the end of the month.) But, don't worry if you don't get a chance to try every new beverage before the 30th. Frappuccino fanatics will also be able to order all six flavors after the contest ends.
The winner will then be offered at a discounted price ($3 for a Grande) from July 3-6 during the hours of 2-5pm. Now we just need to find five friends to go on a coffee run with us so we don't end up spending a small fortune at Starbucks today.
