This Is Going To Be The Best Christmas Ever…Thanks To Bill Murray

It looks like Christmas specials aren't just for kids and
grandmas anymore. Netflix has just picked up one tailored especially for the
hipster crowd: A Very Murray Christmas. Sofia Coppola has re-teamed with her
Lost in Translation star Bill Murray for what they're calling an "homage" to the
classic star-studded variety specials, co-written by Murray, Coppola and Mitch Glazer.

Murray will play a version of himself, with extra curmudgeon
sauce if this teaser is any indication, who's hosting a TV show. The setting of
the teaser trailer looks very much like the Tokyo hotel bar from Lost in Translation,
but it's actually supposed to take place at New York City's Carlyle Hotel. The
description says he's worried a sudden snowstorm might ruin everything but —
surprise! — all kinds of special guests make it.

Miley Cyrus, Rashida Jones,
George Clooney, Amy Poehler, Michael Cera, Chris Rock, Maya Rudolph, Jason
Schwartzman, Jenny Lewis and Phoenix are among the talent announced so far. Singing, dancing — and, we hope, a lot of weird moments — will occur. We don't know about those guys, but we'd
track down some flying reindeer if it meant spending a holiday with Bill.
