With all due respect to Chris Martin, and whatever it is he and Jennifer Lawrence have got going on, we've long harbored hope that the actress would eventually reunite with on-off ex, Nicholas Hoult. And, it's finally happened — but not exactly the way we'd hoped.
The former lovebirds are indeed enjoying one another's company again, but, it's in the context of working on their latest X-Men film, Apocalypse. Director Bryan Singer shared an Instagram photo of him on the set with Hoult, and Lawrence. Everybody seems happy, and chill about the situation.
Perhaps reuniting on set will spark some romantic feelings for the exes, who split last August. Or, maybe they'll pull a Mindy and B.J. and get a $7.5 million book deal out of their relationship.
If nothing else, seeing these two together has given us hope. To quote Hoult in Mad Max: Fury Road: "What a day. What a lovely day!
