Cody Walker isn't just following in his late brother's footsteps when it comes to starring in the Fast & Furious franchise. The 26-year-old paramedic is also looking to continue Paul Walker's charitable works.

"Aside from acting, his daughter and ROWW [Reach Out Worldwide] were the most important things in his life, hands down," Walker told People of his brother's work with the disaster relief organization.

Now, 18 months after Paul's death at age 40 in a car accident, his younger brother is stepping up and taking over the charity's brand manager role. A recent fundraising event for ROWW brought in more than $100,000 and featured appearances by Fast & Furious costars Tyrese Gibson and Michelle Rodriguez.

"[Paul] was very proud of ROWW and the incredible people he had surrounded himself [with] to make up that team," Walker added. "I'm just doing the best that I can to keep his vision consistent."

He also shared that his brother kept his humanitarian projects out of the public eye: "He didn't ever want any recognition for it," Walker told the magazine.

The younger Walker also called Paul a "really great example," and said that ROWW, which the actor founded in 2010 in response to the earthquake in Haiti, wouldn't be the same without him.

"Paul was a huge movie star, and I think really what I didn't realize about Paul that I've since learned, is how loved Paul was to this scale," Walker said. "Everyone that ever encountered him, he had a way of just talking to people and just making everyone — regardless of whether he just met you or not — feel like you were the most important person in the world."

Now, there's a touching tribute.
