Jennifer Aniston May Star In Mean Girls Remake: Mean Moms

Unlike fetch, Mean Moms is reportedly happening — and at least one mega star is rumored to have signed on to the project. According to Deadline, Jennifer Aniston will star in the Mean Girls spin-off. Obviously, we could not be more psyched about this not-quite-yet news. Aniston has honed her dark comedy chops over the last few years — specifically in the Horrible Bosses franchise — and she would totally nail a re-envisioned adult version of Regina George. We can already imagine her crucifying the other playground mommies for letting their toddlers get a little tubby. Also, she would definitely have at least two Fendi purses and a silver Lexus. Duh. So, who would play the rest of the clique? Our dream cast would absolutely have to include Anna Faris as sweet, stupid Karen, and Reese Witherspoon as neurotically overstressed Gretchen Wieners. Anna Kendrick is clearly a shoo-in for the part of Cady Heron, and Lizzy Caplan has to be ready to reprise her role as Janis Ian by now, right? We’re still searching for the right person to fill Damien’s shoes, though. Maybe we get a lady in this role? Maybe that lady is Mindy Kaling? Movie gods, if you can hear us, please give us a sign — and also bring on Jon Hamm as Aaron Samuels, if that’s not too much to ask. We'd be forever grateful.
