Taylor Swift Shares Her Rhyming Texts With Ed Sheeran

Taylor Swift has buddied up with a lot of twentysomething A-listers, but its her friendship with Ed Sheeran that’s giving us the most warm fuzzies today. The “Style” star, who landed in Japan to kick of a world tour for her 1989 album this morning, posted a text between herself and the “Thinking Out Loud” singer on Instagram. It appears the pair have a pretty adorable rapport. While we wouldn’t have predicted than Swift is basically the Dr. Suess of iPhone messages, it totally makes sense. She and Sheeran are both wordsmiths and rhymesters, although clearly they both save their true talents for actual music. “Like you said, Ed” isn’t one of Swift’s most impressive rhymes, and “in a bizzle, sizzle” seems like a discarded Snoop Dogg line. Maybe their best work together is yet to come, though? We could definitely get on board with a new Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift collaboration. So long as they upped the ante on the lyrical front, that is. These two are preeminent industry talents who have taken the world by storm: We bet they could create something beautiful together if they really put some effort into it!
